High-Tech Textile Packaging: The Aesthetics of Corrugated Cardboard

MAZUS created a packaging series for CASILIN high-tech textile products, where it was essential to combine reliable product protection during transportation, convenience for the customer, and a modern, minimalist design.

The CASILIN packaging project is a perfect example showing that even large corrugated cardboard packaging can be not only strong, but also highly aesthetic.

The CASILIN packaging series consists of three sizes. The largest box, measuring 550 × 320 × 130 mm, was designed as a suitcase-style solution and features integrated white textile handles. These handles not only give the packaging an elegant appearance but are also extremely durable and comfortable to carry.

The packaging uses offset printing with a metallic Pantone color. Only the smallest box layout fits into the standard B1 offset printing format. The other packages were printed using a very large-format offset printing press, which made maintaining identical color across the entire packaging series a manufacturing challenge. The boxes are finished with matte lamination, which not only protects the print but also gives the packaging a modern, clean aesthetic and a sense of premium quality.

This modern, functional, and visually elegant packaging series demonstrates that corrugated cardboard can be used not only for transport boxes but also for high-aesthetic product packaging that becomes an important part of a brand’s identity.
